TABBITHA KRAMER

Tabbitha joined the Chamber as the Office Manager in July 2018. She has lived in the Eldridge-North Scott community for seven years and has grown to love what the area has to offer. 

As the mother of three boys, she is excited to work within the community to improve Eldridge and to promote the area to visitors as well as to the families. Tabbitha is especially eager to help local businesses grow. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outside with her husband and kids and attending the many sporting activities in which her children are involved. 

HEATHER KHOURY

Heather Khoury  joined the Chamber as our Member Engagement Coordinator in January 2020.  Heather grew up in this community and has twenty plus years of experience in radio and television advertising/promotions.  She took several years off to raise her two girls, both North Scott Lancers, before joining us.  Heather is eager to refresh our Chamber with new members and new ideas, thus making this community an even better place to work, live and raise a family.  In her spare time Heather likes to exercise, garden and travel, and cheer on her daughters in all of their endeavors.

Brandi Lord is the Branch Manager at First Central State Bank in Eldridge. Brandi has been in banking for over 10 years. When Brandi is not working she enjoys concerts, Chicago Cubs baseball, playing volleyball and spending time with family & friends. Brandi is looking forward to being more involved in the North Scott community!

Daron Oberbroeckling is an Assistant Vice President, Loan Officer with First Trust and Savings Bank in the Eldridge Branch. When Daron isn’t working for his clients you can find him out in the field farming, cheering on the ISU Cyclones, or hanging out with his family. Daron is looking forward to being involved in the North Scott community and has a desire to help make this area an even better place to live…work…and play!  He is always open for new ideas or suggestions! Say Hi to Daron next time you see him out!

VICE-PRESIDENT

Kandi Olson owns and operates Salon del Ray Tanning in Eldridge, and has been a medic for the last 13 years. Kandi’s business was recently voted the #1 Tanning salon in the Quad Cities.  Kandi is also involved with the North Scott Athletic Boosters and has donated a space in the tanning salon for the boosters to sell their apparel throughout the entire year. Her true passion is supporting the North Scott community and is excited to see each community grow to their fullest potential.  She is married to her wife Holly, and they have three beautiful children, Kaidence, Kadison and Kashel. Family is most important to Kandi, when she’s not busy chasing kids, she can be found at Kinnick stadium cheering on the Hawkeyes or playing golf with friends.  

MONICA HURSEY

Monica is the new State Farm agent in Eldridge, and has loved getting to know everyone so far. She and her team are dedicated to being a good neighbor and giving back to the community so she hopes to be a very active participant on the Chamber board so we can help our businesses and support local growth for all!

Monica recently married Ryley, this past November, and they have a newly blended family with five children- Callan (15), Liam (11), Rosalind (9), Ryker (8), and Colton (6). All of their children are very actively involved in sports, academics, and fine arts, so most of their free time is spent cheering them on at different events.

Monica looks forward to meeting everyone and getting a chance to work together for the betterment of our community, so please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything.

LORA DIERICKX

Lora was born and raised in Boone, IA and graduated from DMACC in Boone, IA with an Associates Degree in Business in 1986.  She then graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting in 1989.  While in college, she married her husband Pat in 1988 and just celebrated 34 years of marriage. They have three children: son Travis of Boone, (wife Graye, grandson Campbell and expecting baby boy in January 2023), daughter Nicole Adams of Park View,(husband Steven, grandsons Owen, Lenox, and Johnny), and son Shane of Eldridge, who works for Liqui-Grow in Eldridge.  Lora has been working in Accounting for 40 years (since High School) specializing in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Delinquent Accounts, Billing, Payroll/Quarterlies/W2s/1099s, Banking, Auditing, and personal/business Income Tax. She has prepared income taxes for Steven Fahrenkrog Accounting for 17 years.                                                                         

She owns and operate Pride of the Wapsi LLC with her husband and their children for 19 annual seasons. They hire between 20-40 part-time employees per year. Yearly attendance at the farm is between 15-20k people per year if the weather and life (COVID) cooperates.  They used to grow several acres of strawberries, sweetcorn, red raspberries, green beans, tomatoes and rhubarb and now have an annual Sunflower Festival and Pumpkin Patch/Corn Maize. They have other agritainment and venue ideas for the future.      

Lora has been an active member in the North Scott area for several years. She is a volunteer at St Ann’s Church, NS FFA Alumni, 4-H, Little League, Scott County Pork Producers, Long Grove Civic League, and local Farmers Markets. They are blessed to call North Scott and Long Grove home

BETHANY LUSTER-REED

BOARD MEMBER

Bethany was born in Waukon, Iowa and grew up in NE Iowa/SW Wisconsin.  She spent 2009-2011 as the Director of the McGregor-Marquette Chamber of Commerce, so we are happy to have her previous Chamber experience on our Board of Directors.  She graduated from Capri College and has worked as a cosmetologist in Eldridge since 2015, before becoming the proud owner of Men-Tality Barber Shop in 2018.  The welcoming and lively gang at Men-Tality often see more than 200 friendly faces in their chairs each week.  Bethany is the proud mom of a young-adult son, a high-school aged son, and a pre-school daughter, who keep her very busy.
